Pe data de 2 mai 2011, Facultatea de Limbi şi Literaturi Străine a Universităţii din Bucureşti i-a adus un omagiu Prof. dr. Nadia Anghelescu, fondatoarea şcolii de arabistică românească, la împlinirea vârstei de şaptezeci de ani. Festivitatea a debutat prin înmânarea volumului omagial, volum care cuprinde studii lingvistice şi culturale consacrate atât spaţiului arab, cât şi altor spaţii, semnate de reputaţi specialişti din România şi din străinătate.
Volumul îi are ca editori pe prof. dr. Andrei A. Avram, conf. dr. Anca Focşeneanu, prof. dr. George Grigore şi a apărut la Editura Universităţii din Bucureşti.
